Possible Squad(s)

More and more "competitive" Wi-Fi titles, for Nintendo, are slowly popping up as new consoles have been released.
This is a great opportunity for "NW", to get back in business, now as Next Warriors.
But which games should we play?

The administration still holds Super Smash Bros. Brawl dear to our hearts, and we've decided to add it as "Squad Games". But we need new fresh and active games to our lineup.

Any thoughts and opinions would be appreciated.

I think we should seriously consider any (good) arcade fighter that comes out for the Wii U also. We are yet to really fill out that "niche". Just a suggestion, would anyone be interested in any FPS games? If the new Metroid for Wii U has online multiplayer that could be a thought. I'm down with Kid Icarus and MK7 but Tekken seems less likely to have an audience that enjoys other Nintendo games imo, so we will have to look hard XD

Ofcourse. If they release Soul Calibur, Marvel vs Capcom, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Dead or Alive or any other popoular/good arcade fighters; since they're perfectly fit for crew battles and tournaments. But the only one announced so far is Tekken, which is why I didn't write anything else.

Really? I think a lot of gamers overall, whether they're nintendofans or not, like Tekken and takes this chance to finally play it on their favourite console.
Tekken is also really suited for tournaments, crewbattles and with the amount of depth that really can put us apart from regular players.

It honestly depends on how it works, amount of depth etc.

Kid Icarus: Uprising. It might just be me, who never understood the depth of the game, but find it way too random and "power of your weapon" based. I see how it might work in Dark vs Light though.. but I'm still not entirely sure if the depth focuses on the right things for my liking ^^' ..
MK7 is a must. We should've added it to start with.

How about Pokémon?

it depends, are we planning B/W 2 Pokemon or Pokemon Showdown? I can't do Black/White 2 (incorrect Internet setup for DS) so yeah...If I join it will have to be through PS or Nintendo might release a stadium fighter on Wii U (like Revolution)

I'd say we call the squad "Pokémon", then host the different events in multiple Pokémon game(s) and different settings/rules?
Example: 4th gen. and 5th gen. are 2 different games, but it would be nice to play them both anyways as the Pokémon Squad.

I'm willing to discuss Kid Icarus: Uprising.

I think it can be a very strategic game, with each player having a weapon to compliment a team mate. (gun to distract, with hammer + invisibility to deal close range damage for example.) I don't think you gave it a fair chance.

how about Project M?

Imo, Project M is impossible to play online unless you have a godly connection. If it's THAT popular then we can add it in but for now I think it's a no go unfortunately.

I agree about Project M.
Let's take it up for reconsideration, if they ever release a PAL version of the modification.

Something else: Let's test Kid Icarus: Uprising as soon as possible.

well we need to have a few test matches...when shall we do those?

A lot of time has passed, and I think we can conclude that we'll never get into the "smaller" Wi-Fi titles.
Those games should stay as "freeplay" titles, while we focus on squads the "bigger" games.

Smash 4 is a given. So is MK8. Pokemon will probably be less played if it's on an actual 3DS (I have no time for breeding unfortunately :( ) If it is PS (Pokemon Showdown ) I could probably make some teams and play. We will ever get to a point in LoL where we are good enough to play competitively? XD I don't have much else to add here, those are most likely the "main" games we will play unless there is some major announcements at this years E3.

I just thought I should add it, as the majority of players who'll join are LoL players.
Don't forget we have our secret weapon, which will automatically lead us to victory.
